Stephen J Smith, 78, of Beverly Hills, died October 1, 2021 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. He was the Husband to Maureen L Smith to whom he was married to for 30 years, He was born in Revere, MA to the late John and Eileen (Kane) Smith.

Stephen served in the Army National Guard as Military Police and then became a mechanical engineer for Polaroid for 35 years. He then worked for Bausch + Lomb for 5 years before retiring in 2011.

In addition, he leaves behind his sons Stephen Smith Jr., of Revere, MA  and Thomas Smith, of Revere, MA; his step-children: Stacey Estabrook and her fiancé Christopher Wade, of Tavares, FL, Todd Estabrook and his wife, Leanna, of Manchester, NH, and Colleen Willmon and her husband, Richard, of Beverly Hills, FL; His brother John B Smith Jr, of Venice, FL.; 2 nieces; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

His viewing will be held Tuesday, October 19th , 2021 from 5-7 pm in Heinz Funeral Home, 2507 Highway 44 W, Inverness, Florida  34453
