Robert Castleman

Robert M. Castleman, 82, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on September 27, 2021. He was born on June 17, 1939 in Detroit, MI, the son of Louis and Fae Castleman. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force.

Mr. Castleman retired after 27 years from the Southfield, Michigan Police Department, serving for 26 of those years as the P.O.A.M. treasurer. Upon moving to Florida, he became an active member of N.A.R.L.E.O.

He enjoyed Country music and line dancing. He also loved to tell his stories and his jokes.

He is survived by Karen Peterson his wife of 28 years. His daughter, Anita and her husband Ron Shultz, their three children and two great grandsons. Also survived by Cheryl Peterson, Robert Peterson, his wife Stacey and their two sons.

At the request of the family, there will be no services.
