Raymond Smerecki

On Wednesday, December 30th, 2020, Raymond Smerecki, loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend lost his battle with cancer at the young age of 46.

Ray was born October 26th, 1974 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to Casmire Smerecki and BettyAnn (Del Grosso) Smerecki.  After moving to Citrus County in the mid 1980’s, he attended and graduated from Citrus High School in 1992. Growing up Ray loved to skateboard, drawing, ride his beloved red scooter and spend time with his friends.  As he got older Ray loved to play poker, do wood working projects, be on the boat, and watch football and hockey with his favorite teams being the New York Giants and New Jersey Devils. Ray also loved bonfires with his family and friends and his Batman mask.   Left to cherish and honor his memory are his loving wife of eight years, Ashley, his beloved children, Logan, Casey and Jack Smerecki, his brother, Randy Smerecki, as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws and longtime friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Gulf to Lake Baptist Church, Saturday, January 16th at 11 AM.
