Karel Zachar, 93, of Crystal River, FL, passed away September 16, 2019. Karel was born on June 2, 1926 in Pardubice, Czech Republic, son of Alois and Stepanka Zachar.
He worked as a commercial engineer in the import export business. He was catholic by faith and a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
Karel was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Dagmar Zachar. Survivors include, son, Charles Zachar and his wife Erica of Inverness, FL; daughter, Lenka Davis and her husband Joie of Jacksonville, FL; and three grandchildren, Andrea, Alexis and Amanda all of Inverness, FL.
The Wake for Mr. Zachar will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Crystal River, FL.
