Dennis Wayne Moyer Jr. July 14, 1971 - September 18, 2021

DJ, 50 years old, left his earthly tabernacle at 5:17 AM Eastern Time at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Florida. We, Dennis W Moyer Sr. and Linda were with him speaking words of love and life into his ear via the phone as he departed to a new home.

He was born in Key West, Florida into a military family which enabled him to travel extensively in his youth.  At the age of 15, DJ attended San Diego State University and aced a college computer course. This introduced him to a tech world that remained his primary passion through life. His dad relates the story of Dennis Jr. disassembling his dad’s brand new Apple IIe computer.  His response to his dad’s anger, “I wanted to see how it worked.” After leaving the military, he became self-taught in computer technology. His résumé consists of Hewlett-Packard, IBM and currently he was self-employed.

After the death of Abigail‘s mother, he has lovingly devoted his time to raising his precious Abigail Grace Moyer. Dennis Jr.'s greatest legacy is his children, Abigail and Asheron Moyer.

Survivors include Mr. and Mrs. Dennis W. Moyer Sr. LCDR; daughter, Abigail G. Moyer; son, Asheron Cole Moyer of Clarksburg, Maryland; brother, Edward A. Moyer of Winnipeg Canada; sister, Jasmine A. Pelkey of Cheyenne, Wyoming; biological mother, Elizabeth A. Massenburg of Pensacola, Florida; as well as extended family and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service and Victorious Celebration will be held in Ashville, Alabama at Reeves Grove Historic Landmark on US Highway 11, on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 2 PM Central Time.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to “Help the Dennis Moyer Jr. Family” at www.gofundme.com with an educational fund for Abigail.

Thanksgiving and blessings are extended to the following: the CCU an ICU staff of Citrus Memorial Hospital; gratitude forever to Brittany, Christina and Chester, and to Dr. Abraham and the entire team at Citrus Memorial Hospital; Dr. Michael Wilson, the Director of Critical Care at Mobile Infirmary, who ministered far beyond the normal call of duty.  "Love never fails."; the Timothy Stetson family, who extended their home and love to Abigail during this time of transition.; and to Intercessors across America, your prayers were not in vain.  A mighty harvest will be reaped from your petitions for Dennis Jr.

Our Messiah the Lord Jesus Christ has won the victory.  The weapon of darkness and death is defeated. God‘s love, Jesus reigns victorious.
