Shirley Hardy

Shirley M. Hardy, 85, of Inverness, FL passed away Friday, November 22, 2013. She was born in Detroit, MI to Theodore and Inez Mason on May 27, 1928. She moved to Inverness in 1990. Mrs. Hardy enjoyed a successful professional career as the Vice President of Administration with Door-O-Matic Production Corp. in Greendale WI for 20 years. She was a member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Inverness where she was a member of the Daughters of the King, Alter Guild, and Cursillo. Her hobbies were church activities, reading, and bridge. Shirley was predeceased by her husband of fifty eight years, Melvin R. Hardy in 2005. She is survived by four children; Craig T. Hardy, Grand Haven, MI, Matthew H. Hardy ( Sandi) Chanhassen, MN, Christopher R. Hardy, Inverness, FL and Elizabeth A. Lent (Dan) Hales Corners, WI; 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial service of requiem will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, Inverness.

Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
