Shirley Atwood-Roman

Shirley Marie Atwood-Roman , 63, of Lecanto, Fl, passed away on October 8, 2016 at her home.  Shirley was born on March 20, 1953 in Trona, CA, the daughter of Rupert and Florabell Grantham.

She was a lifelong resident of Citrus County, moving here as a baby.  Shirley volunteered as the warehouse manager for the “We Care Food Pantry” in Homosassa, FL. for the past 10 years.  She loved to crochet and to do art’s and crafts. Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter Tammy Eskridge.She is survived by her husband Jimmy Roman of Lecanto, FL; son James Cline; Daughter Sara Cline; brother Charlie Grantham; six sisters, Mary Courtney, Una Courtney, Betty Jowers, Helen Dalbow, Ruby Grantham and Tronette Riley; granddaughter Lisa Eskridge; three great grandchildren Noah, Isaiah, and Natalie

A memorial service for Shirley will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Catholic Charity Building, 9021 Atlas Drive  Homosassa, FL 34487.  The Reverend Douglas Alexander will preside.  Heinz Funeral Home & cremation, Inverness, FL  heinzfh.com
