Ryan Batchelder

Ryan A. Batchelder, 28, of Hernando, died February 17, 2018.  Ryan was born on July 9, 1989 in Newport, VT, son of Michael and Lisa Batchelder.  He was a member of the Army National Guard and served in Afghanistan.  Ryan moved to Hernando in 2017 from Vermont.  He loved spending time with his children and family. He also had a passion for video games.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Samantha Batchelder of Hernando, FL; five children, Kira Batchelder of Lyndonville, VT, Karson Batchelder of Derby Line, VT, Paislee Batchelder of Derby Line, VT, Chelsea Long of Hernando, FL, and Iziah Decker of Hernando, FL; his parents, Michael and Lisa Batchelder of Hernando, FL; and brother, Lenny Batchelder.

Funeral services for Ryan will be at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Heinz Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until the hour of services.  Military Honors will be provided by the Inverness VFW.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL. heinzfh.com
