Ronald D. Nolan Jr.

Ronald D. Nolan Jr., 71, passed away on April 21, 2026, in Inverness, Florida. Born in Keene, New Hampshire, on September 9, 1954, he was the son of the late Ronald Nolan Sr. and Norma Jean (Derby) Nolan.
A man of many talents and a tireless work ethic, Ronald spent his career in service and skilled trades. He was a retired Corrections Officer from the Sullivan Correctional Facility. Before his career in corrections, he worked as a mechanic and a truck and bus driver. Ronald was also an exceptionally gifted craftsman and woodworker, known for his ability to build and fix nearly anything with precision and care.
Ronald was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda A. (LaMoya) Nolan, and his second wife, Diana Ragan Nolan. He was also preceded in death by his parents and two of his brothers, Billy and Joseph Nolan. He was one of eleven children.
He is survived by his three daughters: Audra (Carmine) Santillo of Liberty, NY; Tracey (Daniel) Barron of Randolph, NY; and Venus Houghtaling of Simpson, PA. He also leaves behind his dear friend, Barbara Valentine, and many nieces and nephews.
He was a proud and devoted grandfather to ten grandchildren: Angelee, LeeAna, and Cameron Santillo; Jadon, Rylee, and Ty Barron; Everett Nolan; and Sadie, Gage, and Bailey Houghtaling.
In accordance with Ronald’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. His family will honor his memory privately, remembering a life defined by hard work and the many things he built with his own two hands.
