Richard Claus

Richard Claus, 80, of Inverness, FL, passed away on February 17, 2021. He was born on March 6, 1940 in Saginaw, MI, son of the late Adam and Mary Claus.

Richard was a veteran of the US Army and was Lutheran by faith. He worked as a contractor.  He enjoyed woodworking and trucks with chrome.  He was a fan of NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon.

Survivors include his wife Joyce Claus; two children, Jeffrey Claus and his wife Melody and Deena Reeds and her husband Randy; two stepchildren, Glenn Stewart and his wife Sophia and Wendy Freeland and her husband Greg; three brothers Tom Claus, Harry Claus and Larry Claus; as well as four grandchildren, six step grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Claus.
