Ricardo Rosa-Amador

Dr. Ricardo Rosa-Amador , 81, of Beverly Hills, FL died on May 21, 2015 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto, FL.  Ricardo was born on March 28, 1934 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, son of Pedro and Rosario Rosa Soberal.  He served as a Lieutenant Commander for the U.S. Army and went on to become a Senior Assistant Surgeon  and Pathologist with the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare.  Dr. Rosa-Amador moved to Beverly Hills in 2009 from Puerto Rico.  He enjoyed driving automobiles, music and reading.

Survivors include his wife, Idalia Suliveres Rosa of Beverly Hills, FL; his son, Jose Rosa Suliveres and wife Zahra of Colonial Heights, VA; sisters, Maria de Los Milagros Rosa-Amador and Sonia Rosa-Amador; and two grandchildren, Yonis Rosa-Suliveres and Yasin Rosa-Suliveres.

Funeral services for Dr. Rosa-Amador will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Heinz Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.  Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with military honors.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
