Ramon Paul Cranert

Ramon Paul Cranert, aged 85, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away on February 6, 2026. Born on May 7, 1940, in Cincinnati, OH, Ray was known for his friendly personality and his ability to connect with others. He had a passion for collecting arrowheads, researching real estate, and was an avid sports fan, particularly devoted to Cincinnati, OH teams. 

Ray is survived by his children: Ramon Cranert, Jr, Elaine (Nathaniel) Sowell, Francis (Lisa) Cranert, Timothy Cranert and Jeffery (Heather) Cranert. His grandchildren include Nathaniel Sowell, Jr, Matthew Sowell, Marques Sowell, Marissa (Cranert) Diesel, Amanda (Cranert) Hutchinson, Curtis Cranert, Elisabeth Cranert, and Camryn Cranert. He is also survived by his brother, Ronald Cranert. He was preceded in death by siblings Stephen Cranert and Jacqueline (Cranert) O’Neill-Hoeting. 

A Requiem Mass will be held on March 13th, 2026, 11:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church, Williston, FL.
