Paul Meyer

Paul Henry Meyer, 85, of Inverness, FL died on December 5, 2015 at HPH Hospice in Lecanto, FL.  Paul was born on August 3, 1930 in Everett, MA, son of Paul and Frances Meyer.  He married Helen Katsoulis on March 6, 1949.  Paul was an interior designer.  He moved to Inverness in 1992 from Stoughton, MA.

Survivors include his wife of 66½ years, Helen Meyer of Inverness, FL; daughter Harriet E. McCarthy and husband George of Hyannis, MA; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; devoted cousin, Dennis Contois and his wife June; sister-in-law Diane; many nieces and nephews especially, Barry and Helen Anasoulis; and many friends.

When I must leave you for a little while, please do not grieve and shed wild tears and hug your sorrow to you through the years. But start out bravely with a gallant smile; And for my sake and in my name, live on and do all things the same, Feed not your loneliness on empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways, Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer and I in turn will comfort you and hold you near; And never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting for you in the sky!

Interment will be in Massachusetts at a later date as well as a memorial service at St. Marks in Ocala, FL.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
