Patricia J. Brown

Patricia (“Pat”) J. Brown, 85, of Hernando, Florida passed away on October 27th. She was born, January, 8, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri. Pat was the oldest of three children of Thomas and Ruth McDonough.

Pat retired in 1997 and prior to that was a long time secretary for a school principal. She moved full time to Hernando from East Stroudsburg, PA in 2001. Pat loved her family and her pup, Lizzie. She was a wizard at crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She was extremely social and loved doing things with her girlfriends. You could find her every morning taking a long walk her good friend and their dogs.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, James, and her parents and her siblings. Survivors include her son, Scott and his wife Judy Brown of Bushnell, FL and son, Craig Brown of Galena, IL. Grandchildren include Alexa and her husband Chris, and Connor Brown. She has two great grandchildren, Lizzy and Nate. Her beloved dog, Lizzie now lives with Scott and Judy.

Pat’s life will be celebrated in a private ceremony with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Rd., Inverness, FL, 34450.
