Maryanne Demarest

Maryanne Demarest , 71, of Homosassa, FL, died on March 22, 2017 at her home.  Maryanne was born on October 31, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Francis and Anna Alwill.  She moved to Homosassa in 1985 from Brooklyn, NY.  Maryanne was Catholic.  She enjoyed seeing all her friends at the Dixie Harvest Produce Stand on US19 in Homosassa.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Peter Demarest of Homosassa, FL; eight children, Richard Dalton, twins, Roseann Carver and Maryann Harrison, John Demarest all of Homosassa, FL, Corrina Douglas of Inverness, FL, Barbara Demarest of Collegeville, PA, Peter Demarest of Homosassa, FL, and Joann Keller of Spring Hill, FL; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and her lifelong friend, Nancy Cioffi of Spring Hill, FL.

Funeral services for Mrs. Demarest will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Heinz Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 until the hour of services.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.  heinzfh.com
