Mary Anna Raybon Argo, 88, of Inverness, made her journey home to Jesus on August 13th 2025, where she was joyfully greeted by her family who preceded her, including: her mother, Eleanor V. Kinney, father, Anson J. Pease, brothers: John and Virgil Pease, sister, Kathryn; two daughters, Diana J. Smith and Rosalind N. Raybon; grandson, Andrew Buchanan; great-grandson, Evan Joe Hecker; son-in-law, Stephen Sellars, and many other loved ones.
Mary was a CNA. She was a lifelong church member and active in her community. She loved volunteering at Citrus Memorial Hospital, with Meals on Wheels, at the Lake Ridge Library, and as a member of First Baptist Church, where she helped in the church pantry and library. She enjoyed mowing her yard and her neighbors’ yards. She really loved her sweet tea. Mary faithfully shared Jesus with whoever would listen. She leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed until we see her again. In her words, “I'll see you tomorrow.”
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM, on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness. Pastor Tom Thomas will preside. Mrs. Argo will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness, following the service.
