Mary C. Lay-King, 82, of Inverness, FL, passed away at her daughter's home on April 27, 2023. Mary was born on May 15, 1940 in Grainger County, TN to the late William and Helen Wilmoth.
Survivors include her two daughters, Marie (Bradley) Williams and Mary (Jimmy) Knight both of Inverness, FL; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Also left behind are her two siblings, Wanda Brown of Mascot, TN and Bobby (Kay) Wilmoth of Cass City, MI.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by two husbands, Thomas Lay and Kenneth King; a son, Thomas Lay Jr.; three brothers, Hollis, Paul, and William Wilmoth; and a sister, Gladys Branch.
A private burial will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Christian Memorial Gardens in Rochester Hills, MI.
