Mary Ann Mission

Mary Ann Mission, 79, of Inverness, Florida, passed on December 19, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 23, 1942, to the late Albert and Antoinette Vitkauskas. 

She enjoyed reading and gardening.  She was a great cook and liked spending time with her family and her dog, Abby. Mary Ann had lived in Citrus County for 41 years where she was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John Mission.

Survivors include her sons, John Mission and his wife, Suzanne, and Steven Mission and his significant other, Cathy Gesler; a grandson, Michael Mission and his wife, Olivia; as well as one great grandchild, Dean Mission.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to HPH Lecanto Hospice House, 2939 W. Gulf to Lake Highway, Lecanto, FL 34461.
