Martha Bartges

Martha “Marty” Bartges, 79, of Inverness, FL died on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Arbor Trails Nursing Home in Inverness, FL.  Martha was born on August 7, 1938 in McKeesport, PA, daughter of Frederick and Dorothy Hoinkes.  She was a floral designer and worked at the Cat’s Meow in Inverness for many years.

Marty was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bartges in 2007.  Survivors include four children, Donald Bartges and his wife Paula of Linesville, PA, Dianne Horstman and husband James of Inverness, FL, Debra Norville and husband Paul of Eminence, KY, and Donna Norville and husband Steve of Tallahassee, FL; three brothers, Karl, Robert, and Ronald Hoinkes; seven grandchildren, Dawnelle Bartges of Stuart, FL, Jennifer Giraldo and fiance Jeff of Lecanto, FL, Ashleigh Bartges and boyfriend Matt of Delmar, NY, Jessica Patton and husband Ryan of Meadville, PA, Michael Norville of Eminence, KY, Vanessa Bartges and husband Paul of Pittsburgh, PA, and Laura Canupp and husband Josh of Smithfield, KY; and four great grandchildren, Bianca, London, Olivia, and Bradley.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Bartges will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 9, 2017 at Heinz Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL. heinzfh.com
