Clayton Hart III

It is with great sadness that the family of (Marion) Clayton Hart III announce his passing on March 23rd, 2026 in Inverness, Florida. 

Clayton was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on October 19, 1942.

Clayton will be lovingly remembered by his wife Nancy, his children, Susan Conforti and Clayton Hart IV; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, Giana, and Julianne; his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Larry Holt.

Clayton grew up on Long Island  with his parents, Doris and Clayton Hart.  He worked for IBM in Manhattan for 25 years.  He studied Karate, loved working out, bicycling, and running.  His hobby was music with his best friend Bill Panto, and he loved ballroom dancing.

Service will be held at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness, Florida at 11:30 AM, Monday March 30th, followed by a ceremony with full military honors to be held at 1:30PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
