Lisa Helt

Lisa Marie Helt , 41, of Inverness, FL passed on Friday, December 4, 2015.  Lisa was born in Inverness in 1974, the daughter of Dean and Katherine Helt.  She graduated from Citrus High School in the Class of 1992.   Lisa was a Corrections Officer for the State of Florida at the Lowell Correctional Institution in Ocala, FL.  She loved the New York Yankees.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father Dean Helt and her grandmothers, Florence Helt and Doris Hicks.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother Katherine Helt of Inverness, FL; sister Laura Nash and her husband Jeremy of Inverness, FL; nieces Ava K. Nash and Jemma K. Nash both of Inverness, FL; maternal grandfather James C. Hicks of Leoma, TN; paternal grandfather Robert D. Helt of Hernando, FL; her loving dog Bella; and many family members and friends that loved her dearly.

Lisa’s family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, 2507 Hwy 44 West, Inverness, FL.
