Leonard Brendel, 74, of Hernando, FL died on January 16, 2017 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto, FL. Mr. Brendel was born on July 20, 1942 in Queens, NY, son of Freddie and Gladys Brendel. He worked in construction. Leonard was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his two sons, Brian Brendel and Keith Brendel, both of Hernando, FL. Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
