Kathy Marie Skelton

Kathy M. Skelton (Bergman), 70, of Gordon, WI and Beverly Hills, FL passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025 after a long illness.

She was born in Duluth, MN on December 6, 1954. Kathy graduated from Denfeld High School and received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from UMD. She had a long career in the Office of Student Conduct at UMD and as a computer software lecturer.

She loved being a mother and grandmother, reading, gardening, hiking, and travelling internationally.

Kathy is survived by her partner, Paul Graden, her children Sherry (David) Tokkesdal, Dr. Chrissy (Seán Carabini) Skelton, and Lisa (Chris Aburime) Skelton, grandchildren Matilda Carabini, Lucian Aburime, Eloise Carabini, and Alice Aburime, siblings Barb Andersen, Mike (Sylvia) Bergman, Debbie (Mike) Tillmann, Susan Bergman, and Laurie (Helen) Barrett, nieces Kristy (Hartley) Bergman Schroeder, Jillian (Samuel Richards) Bergman-Martin, and Katie (Eric Wong) Bergman, and great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Ruby and Otto Bergman and her former husband Ray Skelton.

A memorial service to honor Kathy's life will be held at a later date.
