June Dreger-Parsons

June Dreger-Parsons, 89, of Inverness, FL, passed away February 6, 2024. She was a wonderful, loving person and will be greatly missed. June was born in Cleveland, OH, on February 7, 1934, and moved to St.Petersburg, FL with her husband, Ray, and two small children in 1956. In 1990 June and Ray retired to Inverness.

 She was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hernando and enjoyed quilting, working the foodbank, and singing in the choir. Her many activities/hobbies included gardening, water aerobics, crafts/art, playing cards and later dominoes.

 June was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and husbands Ray, and Bud. Survivors include two sons, Lynn Dreger (Anne), Lee Dreger (Kellie), daughters Ellen Goforth (Jeff), Ella Mcgeehan, sister Margaret Hauser, as well as seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

 A Memorial Service will be held on April 12 at 11AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 439 E. Norvell Bryant Hwy, Hernando, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Good Shepherd General Fund are requested.
