Some love stories are so deeply woven together that they are impossible to tell apart. Jimmy and Judy Howard shared a remarkable life built on faith, family, hard work, laughter, and unconditional love. Although Jimmy passed away on March 17, 2026, and Judy followed him on July 28, 2026, after 41 wonderful years of marriage, their story remains one that will forever be remembered together.

Jimmy, a Mississippi native, and Judy, born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin, were married on February 9, 1985. Together they created not just a house, but a home filled with warmth, laughter, and countless memories. Their beloved home on Fresno Lane became the gathering place for family and friends, where everyone knew they were always welcome. In fact, they loved Florida so much that they convinced much of the family to make the move south with them, ensuring they could all continue making memories together.

Jimmy was a man who took tremendous pride in everything he did. Whether it was the work of his hands, the career he built at McEnany, the home he carefully maintained, or, most importantly, the family he loved so fiercely, he believed anything worth doing was worth doing right. His quiet strength, dependability, and willingness to help anyone left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Judy’s heart was the center of the family. Her door was never closed to friends, neighbors, or loved ones who needed a place to belong. She had an incredible talent for seeing beauty where others did not—whether transforming garage sale treasures into cherished decorations or creating stunning gardens with her unmatched green thumb. Her home reflected her creativity, but her greatest masterpiece was the love she poured into every person who walked through her door.

Together, Jimmy and Judy created a family that extended far beyond bloodlines. They lovingly helped raise grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless others, giving each of them the same unwavering love, guidance, and support. With Judy being one of ten siblings and Jimmie one of five, their family tree grew into something beautifully enormous, rooted in love and strengthened by generations of shared memories.

In their later years, one of their greatest joys was traveling together, making memories wherever the road led. It brings comfort to those they leave behind to imagine that they are once again side by side, beginning their greatest journey together.

They leave behind their loving children, Terri Miller, Steve and Pattie Armstrong, and Paul Howard, along with a large and loving family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by their love.

While our hearts grieve the loss of two extraordinary people, we celebrate lives that were truly well lived. Their legacy will continue in every family gathering, every blooming flower, every project built with pride, every open door, and every act of kindness shared in their memory.

A celebration of life will be held for both of them on Saturday, September 19th, 2026 at Clover Leaf Farms Heather House, Brooksville FL.

Together for 41 years. Together forever.
