Joseph Wayne Phillips

Joseph Wayne Phillips, Sr., 63, passed on September 5, 2026. He was a native of Washington D.C. where he was born to James and Patricia (NEE Kasey) Phillips, on March 9, 1963. He was a hard working man with an excellent reputation in the auto body industry. He moved his family to Floral City over 20 years ago to raise his kids in a small town. Unfortunately, a cancer diagnosis caused him to have to leave the workforce. He was very sensitive and had an immense appreciation for family. He will be truly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patti (NEE Therrien) Phillips; daughter Jessica Lynne Phillips, son, Joseph Wayne Philips, Jr.; brothers: Jamie and Sam Phillips and his wife Josie; a sister Kasey Stroede and her husband Jeff; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be holding a private service in celebration of Joseph's life at a later date.
