Joseph Nolan

Joseph P. Nolan, 59, of Dunnellon, FL died on January 24, 2017 at Legacy House in Ocala, FL.  Joseph was born on April 28, 1957 in Keene, NH, son of Ronald and Norma Jean Nolan.  He moved to Citrus County in 1989 from Middletown, NY. Joe was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He loved fishing, bingo and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved cars, racing, wrestling and most importantly, the Atlanta Braves.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and brother Billy Nolan.  Survivors include his two sons, John Nolan of Waterford, CT and Timothy Nolan of Greenfield Park, NY; nine siblings, Diana Rivera (David) of Simpson, PA, Theresa Booth (Robert) of Greenfield Park, NY, Ronald Nolan, Jr. of Inverness, FL, Jeffrey Nolan (Suzanne) of Dacula, GA, Matthew Nolan (Debbie) of Colombia, SC, Roseanne Nolan (Carlos Giron) of Clifford Township, PA, Mary Nolan of Dunnellon, FL, Patricia Jordan(Charles) of Springfield, GA, and Bryan Nolan (Tamara) of Stafford, VA; and three grandchildren, Makenzie, Hunter, and Emily all of Greenfield Park, NY.

Funeral services for Mr. Nolan will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Heinz Funeral Home.  His family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness, FL.  The family would like to thank the Haven House for his care and to his buddies who shared stories.
