John W. Weed

Mr. John Wesley Weed, 77, of Tampa, FL, passed away on February 16, 2026. He was born in St. Petersburg, FL on June 16, 1948, to the late John and Charlotte Weed. He lived in Inverness, FL for many years.

He was a veteran of the US Navy and served on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. He worked as a lineman in the telephone utilities industry. He enjoyed church, football, puzzles, card games, and volunteering.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his three siblings, Sandra Gann of Madeira Beach, FL, Patricia Bradshaw of Inverness, FL, and Paul Weed of Tampa, FL.

A Graveside Service will be held at Dampier Cemetery in Inverness, FL, on February, 28, 2026 at 10am. Pastor Mike Sellers will preside.
