John Francis Rousseau, Jr., 86, of Inverness, FL, passed away on January 25, 2026. He was born in South Kingston, RI, on July 15, 1939, to the late John and Louise May Rousseau.
He worked as a cement truck driver in the construction industry. Mr. Rousseau was a District Fire Chief in Charleston, RI. He was a baseball coach and a scoutmaster. His hobbies included fishing, motorcycles, and hunting. He liked to travel and go camping. He enjoyed western movies and country music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife of 60 years, Margaret.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Kenyon; four sons, Thomas (Elizabeth), Joseph (Laurie), Robert (Dawn), and John (Michelle); a sister, Diane (Wes); as well as 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on February 6, 2026, at the First Christian Church of Inverness where Mr. Rousseau was a member.
