John R. Piersall, 77, of Inverness, FL passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL.  John was born May 16, 1938 in Pilot View, KY, son of J.E. and Myrtle Piersall.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran.  John was owner of LWP Financial Services.  John moved to Inverness in 1995 from Lake Lure, NC.  He was a member of the Rotary Club of Inverness, FL.  John was a member and lay minister at the Sumterville United Methodist Church in Sumterville, FL.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Irene Piersall of Inverness, FL; 6 children, John Piersall and wife Kathy of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Jackson Piersall and wife Tammy of Columbus, OH, James Piersall and wife Cindy of Mt. Dora, FL, Brian Piersall and wife Jennifer of Tracy, CA, Keith McKeeby and wife Angie of Baker, FL, and Patrick Piersall and wife Christine of Ceres CA; sister, Dora Hunt and husband Sonny of Inverness, FL; 16 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and serveral nieces and nephews, including Sharon Maddox of Portland, TN, Danni Scott of Gallatin, TN, and Angie Stanton of Inverness, FL.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Heinz Funeral Home.  Memorial services for Mr. Piersall will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the funeral home. Reverend Charles Tomberlin will preside.  Honor Guard services for John will be held at Florida National Cemetery at a date to be announced.  Heinz Funeral Home and Cremation, Inverness, FL.
