John Kreyling

John J. Kreyling , 84, of Inverness, FL died on September 14, 2017 in Lecanto, FL.  John was born on February 1, 1933 in New York, NY, the son of Conrad and Josephine Kreyling.  He was a US Air Force Veteran.  John was self-employed in property maintenance and construction.   He moved to Inverness in 2006 from Garrison, NY. He attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness, FL.  John loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was active with the local TOO FAR Foundation and coordinated several Youth Angler's Fish-a-thons.

John was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia K. Kreyling in 2008.  Survivors include his daughter Laura Gaisser and her husband David of Gainesville, FL; son Joseph Kreyling and his wife Carmella of Hawley, PA; sister Patricia Melinsky of Port St. Lucy, FL; brother Conrad M. Kreyling, III of Middle Island, NY; five grandchildren, Michael, Melissa and Richard Gaisser, Joseph and Jack Kreyling and step granddaughter Jessica Garcia; two great grandchildren, Eveangeline Gaisser and Sophia Kreyling; and three step great grandchildren, Antonio, Alyssa and Isabella Garcia.

A funeral mass will be offered for John at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness, FL.  Father Timothy Cummings will preside.  Interment with Military Honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.  Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.  heinzfh.com
