Jack Allen Motts, 86, of Beverly Hills, FL went to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 27, 2019 in Lecanto. He was born on February 2, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, son of the late Ralph and Amelia Motts.


Jack was a Senior Claims Investigator for LTV Steel for 47 years. During that time he served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He and his wife retired to Beverly Hills, FL in 1998. He was an active member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hernando, FL.


Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Louann Motts of Beverly Hills, FL; two sons: John Allen Motts and his wife Kathleen of Ormond Beach, FL, Gary David Motts and his wife Cyndee of Jefferson Hills, PA; a daughter, Paula Marie Roney and her husband Charles of Johns Creek. GA. Also, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela, his parents, and a brother, Robert Motts, Sr.


A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on February 8th, 2019 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Hernando, FL. Pastor Dennis Koch will preside. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Jack's name be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 439 East Norvell Bryant Hwy., Hernando, FL  34442-4779.
