George Randall

George X. Randall, 81, of Hernando, FL died on August 16, 2017 at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast.  George was born on July 10, 1936 in Boston, MA, son of George and Florence Randall.  He was a U.S. Marines veteran, serving in Korea.  George worked in sales for a utility company.  He moved to Hernando in 1996 from S. Weymouth, MA.  George was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church where he was a 4 ^th Degree in the Knights of Columbus, serving as Faithfull Navigator.  He was a member of the VFW 4252 in Hernando and past Governor of the Moose Lodge 2112.  George enjoyed bowling and golfing and he loved spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Randall was preceded in death by his grandson, Justin Quinn. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Irma Randall of Hernando, FL; four children, Patricia Randall of Hernando, FL, Jane Salvucci and husband Steven of Plymouth, MA, George X. Randall, Jr. and wife Cynthia of Colorado Springs, CO, and Mary Cordier and husband Michael of Beverly Hills, FL; sister Jane Geisel and husband John of Webster, NY; brother William Randall and wife Kay of Mentor, OH; eight grandchildren, Janessa, Allicia, Kevin, Elizabeth, Cassandra, Jennifer, Kristina, and Derek; and five great grandchildren, Elisha, Tanner, Abigail, Emmitt, and Landry Rose.

The family of Mr. Randall will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Beverly Hills, FL.  Inurnment will be at a later date at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with Military Honors.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the National Kidney Foundation.
