Fran Wein

WEIN, MILA "FRAN", 88, of Inverness, Florida, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 22, 2026. Born in Little Rock, AR on October 12, 1937 to her late parents, George and Hazel (NEE Hillis) Hudson, she moved to Citrus County with her husband of 70 years, Billy Wein, many years ago. She loved the Lord and was a dedicated servant of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed serving the Lord as a faithful member of Citrus Missionary Baptist Church. spending time with her family, camping, and painting.

Fran was survived by husband, Billy: a son Billy Wein, Jr. and his girlfriend Maria; daughter Anita Wein; son-in-law Danny Hartman; grandchildren: Sarah, Amanda, Ashley, Elizabeth, Alex, Sam, Gio, Bella, Tia, and DJ; 18 great-grandchildren; and her sister Anne Hartman. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters: Judy Antoon and Sherry Hartman; and her sister Judy Collins.

There will be a viewing at Citrus Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 10 AM -11 AM, a service will begin at 11 AM. Following services, she will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
