Elizabeth "Betty" Kolczynski

Elizabeth "Betty" Kolczynski, 89, of Inverness FL, passed away on April 30, 2026. She was born in the small zinc mining town of Franklin, New Jersey, on January 1, 1937, to parents Frank and Rose Krisztian. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Kolczynski of 50 years. She leaves behind three children, Leonard J. Kolczynski, Dawn Cutajar, and John F. Kolczynski; four grandchildren, Nathan, Alec, Spencer, and Andrew. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Krisztian and Frank Christian; sisters, Alice Garris, Ethel Paffenroth, and Rose Zill.

Betty had a passion for traveling and resided for a time in different countries. She loved being with family, singing in the church choir, and fishing. She was a member of our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness.
