Della Striler

Della Marie Striler, 79, of Inverness FL, passed March 26, 2015 at the HPH Hospice Care Center in Lecanto, Fla. Della was born on August 6, 1935 in Belgique Missouri, daughter of Joseph and Lucille Phillips. She moved to Miami in 1953 and worked as a waitress at the Walgreens on Biscayne Blvd in Miami Beach and also a s a bartender at Congers Lounge in Miami Beach. She r eti r ed and then moved to Inverness in 1985 where she worked as a Bartender at the VFW P ost 4337.  Della better known as Marie , was well known for the love of her dogs. Though out the years she raised Miniature Sch n auzers and York sh ire Terriers.

Survivors include her son Robert C Striler, Jr. (Gail)  Of Orlando, Fl. Daughter Barbara Mills (Jim) of Inverness Fl, and Karen Helt (Greg g of Dunnellon, Fl. Grandchildren James Striler, Eric Striler, Bria n Mills, Kevin Mills, Samantha Mills, Shane Helt, Kyle Helt, and Meghan Nelson; Great grandchildren Kailey, Courtney, Gabriel, Kylie, Haylee, and Logan

A celebration of life will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday April 4, 2015 at Heinz Funeral Home. The family will greet friends form 10 AM till the time of  Service.
