Catherine Moore, 93, of Hernando, FL, passed away on April 11, 2024. She was born in Blaenau Ffestiniog, Wales, on November 18, 1930, to the late Humphrey and Mary Jones.
She worked as the head of housekeeping at a medical hospital. She was Catholic by faith and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Thomas E. Moore. Survivors include her children, Mary S. Ferry and her husband David of Wilmington, DE, and Wayne S. Moore and his wife Barbara of Essington, PA; grandchildren, David J. Ferry III, Timothy S. Ferry, Brian J. Ferry, Wayne S. Moore II, Barbara Ann Marcovitz, Amanda Graziola, Katie Moore, and Rebecca Huggins; and great grandchildren; and significant other, Tom Pilkington.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, April 20 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness.
