Carolyn A Piscopio

Carolyn A Piscopio, 94, of Hernando, passed away on December 4, 2025. She was born in  Fall River, Massachusetts and grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island. She was a resident of Citrus Hills for over 40 years. Carolyn was faithfully married to her husband Joseph for over 76 years. She enjoyed her family and friends, cooking, knitting, and golfing - as well as Rummikub.

As the most devoted, giving and selfless Mother of 5, Carolyn always managed to find time to volunteer and always be available to anyone in need but not just limited to her family and friends.

Known for her genuine and infectious smile, she always had a kind word weather it be the person in line, the cashier or the waitress.

During Covid, she made countless sweaters for children of family, friends and staff in her community.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Joseph; sons Joseph Piscopio, Robert (Debra) Piscopio, and Richard Piscopio; her daughter Felicia Revens (Dr. Nancy Waterman); son-in-law Michael Revens; her brother, Raymond Carroll; and grandchildren: Joseph Piscopio, Jami Piscopio, Nicole Penta, Francesca Piscopio, Sidney Somberg and Nickolas Zenga; and many great grandchildren whom she greatly adored.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Piscopio; brothers, Charles and David Carroll; and her sisters, Katherine Skanchy, Therese DiBlasio and Bernice Primeau.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Scholastica Catholic Church on December 18, 2025 at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers in honor of Carolyn, please be kind to one another and pay it forward to someone in need. 

There will also be a service in Rhode Island to be announced at a later time.
