Blonza Smith

Blonza C. Smith, 102, of Inverness, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019. She was a Florida native, born in Wakulla on March 13, 1917, to William W. and Coretta (Godwin) Causseaux. Her younger siblings were Nora, Coralie, and William.

After the loss of both parents while in her youth, Blonza lived in Jacksonville and then Tampa. There she married James Budd Smith in 1952 and they soon moved to the Trilby area and lived at River Bend. After Budd's passing in 1962, Blonza later returned to Tampa and eventually settled in Inverness.

She will be laid to rest at the Trilby Cemetery, next to her husband, James Budd Smith. Funeral arrangements were conducted by Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation in Inverness.
