Betty Robison

Betty Jane Robison, 94, formerly of Gotha, FL, died Sunday evening, November 3, 2013 at the home of her daughter Betty Lou Rausch.  Mrs. Robison has been a resident of Citrus County since 2009.

She was born on July 24, 1919 in Warren, Ohio to Tom Davis and Jemima McGlashan Davis.

In 1937 Betty Married Murel Edwin Robinson.  In 1949 the couple relocated to Orlando, FL, and later built a home in Gotha, FL.  Betty worked for the Windermere School System in Orange County.  She was a member of Ocoee Christian Church, Pythian Sisters and a mixed bowling league in West Gotha.

She enjoyed the local Internet Cafes and the people she met there. She also loved traveling to Las Vegas, Buloxi, The Hard Rock Casino and the Sun Cruz. Oh how she loved the sounds of the slot machines.

Betty leaves behind her son Ronald Lee of Kissimmee, daughters Betty Lou Rausch of Lecanto and Donna Perry of Warren, OH; sister Helen Hatch of Jacksonville; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and22 great, great  grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, 2 grandchildren, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
