Betty J. Cross, 89, of Hernando, FL died on April 29, 2017 at Avante at Inverness. Betty was born on November 28, 1927 in Detroit, MI, daughter of George and Pearl Heinz. Survivors include husband, Donald J. Cross of Hernando, FL; son, James H. Cross, II, and wife Sharon of Inverness, FL; and eight grandchildren. Inurnment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
